What is the biggest mistake I've made in a relationship? Are you wise guys kidding me? I never got into one long enough to make a “big” mistake. You know, you guys and your relationship questions…

I would have to say that my not putting out could be considered a mistake.

You know, if the guys down at my gym saw this question, I could just see it now, how they would react. They would all be like “Yeah, Mikey’s still a virgin. How’s he gonna make any mistake? When are you gonna lose that damn thing anyway? It ain’t right with you being twenty-five and all …” . It would be just like them too

Then I would be like, “Shut it you guys, there’s ladies present …and I’m talking here!” And then the only female boxer we have would toss old gloves at me in retaliation for calling her a lady.

My trainer thinks it’s real funny that I am answering all these questions. He says that it’s going to come back and bite me on the butt one day by being so open about my choices. He also thinks it is a mistake for me to stay a, well, you know, for this long and that even prize champions get married or get in relationships.


I say if it isn’t broke don’t fix it – I’ve been doing fine so far. I won’t even start on the conversation we once had about me settling down. Dontcha kind of have to sow wild oats before you do that? Then there’s Maggie; she thinks it is adorable that I am holding out for whatever it is I am holding out for.

I don’t buy that from him and Maggie is my sister – I have to take grief from her. I think it’s the law or something

But don’t any of you go getting any ideas.
